Phoenix Academy Public Charter High School Chelsea challenges resilient, disconnected students from Chelsea, Everett, Lynn and Revere with rigorous academics and relentless supports, so they take ownership of their futures and succeed in high school, college, and as self-sufficient adults.
Phoenix Charter Academy Chelsea is the Phoenix Network’s flagship school. The public charter high school opened in 2006, serving 75 students and piloting the Phoenix model of rigorous academics and relentless support. Since then, the school has grown to serve over 200 high school students ages 14-22.
Phoenix Chelsea students come from greater Boston area neighborhoods, some commuting over an hour to get to school.
The high school serves a diverse student body…
…with a wide range of experiences, educational backgrounds, and challenges to overcome.
Phoenix Chelsea offers ongoing enrollment, allowing new students to enter the school at different points during the school year.
