Carolyn Acosta was born and raised in Boston, MA and is of Dominican descent. Carolyn attended UMass Boston where she earned her bachelors degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She then went on to study public policy. Carolyn is a first generation college graduate and is passionate about helping students who are living in oppressed communities finish high school and continue to post-secondary education. Outside of work, Carolyn loves to spend time with her family and enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing flag football!
